I've been in SF for over a decade now. Love the city, but love what surrounds it just as much. Avid hiker/backpacker and new-ish to outdoor climbing. In the next year, I'd like to get outdoors to climb as much as possible to hone the skills I've been learning.

I often climb in the mornings before work. Schedule varies based on whether or not I'm heading into the office. On the days I work remotely, I can climb right up until 9am and/or climb during lunch. If I am in town, thumbs-up to weekend climbing as well. I have a great group of climbing friends, but life and schedules sometimes make it hard to coordinate. Looking to expand climbing circle to be able to get out more consistently.

Intermediate

Right now, indoors top-rope (up to 5.11D) and lead (up to 5.11a). Outdoors top-rope only (up to 5.10a). Hopefully, I will have some outdoor lead experience after our Climbsgiving trip. TBD!

In the next year, I'd like to learn more about trad climbing.

Harness, belay device, belay gloves, helmet, indoor rope, slings, carabiners. So far, my friends have provided most outdoor gear, but I'm willing to invest in it, as needed. Always happy to drive, too.
