I'm free most weekends for alpine adventures, can extend by a day or two for more remote areas. Weekday evenings are great for gym climbing and maybe sneaking off to Exit 32/38 in the summer.
I have a lot of experience backpacking and scrambling/mountaineering. I'm newer to rock climbing - outdoors I lead 5.10+ sport, 5.10- trad, and boulder V2. I am working on 5.11+ & V5 problems in gyms. I'll happily follow up to WI5 but don't have any experience leading on ice.
Skills: leading on ice and steep/belayed snow travel, improving multipitch transitions to work towards big wall climbs.
Grades: Sport climbing outside at 5.11+, bouldering outside at V4, sending an Index 10a on gear
2018 goal is a thru hike of the PCT SoBo. 2019 goal is climbing all 100 peaks on the Bulger List.
Eventual goal is to put up a hard FA in Alaska. Someday...
Toooo much! Crash pad, quickdraws, more cams than you can shake a fist at (~double rack to #6), learning-to-aid rack, ice tools & screws, 70m dry rope, 40m rope, 30m glacier rope, crevasse rescue stuff, AT ski setup, avy safety things, and assorted backpacking/mountaineering gear.
